Inspired by the popular animated series, the show is family-friendly. Mild language and cartoonish violence is included along with positive themes of friendship and perseverance. Viewers need not be familiar with the animated series or its characters to follow the plot. Having general familiarity can contribute to a greater appreciation of the show and its humor.
