Updates - Health & Safety

Healthy and safety of cast, crew and staff is our priority.

We will continue to monitor and follow updated county guidelines. We hope to perform the show unmasked in March (but will accommodate anyone who is more comfortable remaining masked onstage).

Vaccination & Testing:

  • All eligible students are encouraged to be vaccinated before participating in the musical.

  • It is recommended that students participating in the musical test regularly.

  • Students and staff are asked to stay home if they feel sick or if they are experiencing symptoms. This is a crucial preventative measure in maintaining safety at school.

  • Staff members and students with symptoms of COVID-19 infection will be advised not to return for in-person instruction until they have met CDPH criteria to return to school.

Mask Wearing:

  • It is strongly recommended that all students and staff wear masks while indoors.

Hand Washing / Sanitizing:

  • Hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoiding contact with one’s eyes, nose, and mouth, and covering coughs and sneezes among students and staff will help to maintain a healthy school environment. Hand washing/sanitizing will be reinforced daily with time allotted to wash hands regularly.

Anyone (including staff) who have symptoms of infectious illness, such as flu or COVID-19, should stay home and seek testing and care.
